National Recognition For Hollis/Brookline High School

Local students and parents have a right to feel proud of their accomplishments.  Their high school, which has consistently been among the tops in the state testing ranks, has received national recognition placing it among the best high schools in the US.

For the 2nd year in a row, Hollis/Brookline High School has been named by Newsweek Magazine as one of the country’s top high schools.  Only 5% of all US high schools achieve this ranking.  http://www.newsweek.com/id/39380

The school has also been chosen by US News and World Report as one of the 2009 Best US High Schools.  This ranking is based upon overall student academic achievement and college readiness.  HBHS received a silver medal placing it in the top tier among 21,000+ US high schools.  http://www.usnews.com/sections/education/high-schools/index.html
